Physical Experiences

Prior to starting at Futuregames, I spent a few years running my own company creating escape rooms, experiences, and props. The work involved a lot of project management, working within brand guidelines, tight deadlines, and juggling both the client and the end consumers’ needs. And of course, plenty of creativity! These projects directly involve relevant game and experience design, and demonstrate my ability to deliver.

FAZER ESCAPE ROOM

Project overview:

An escape room built in a shipping container as a brand activation for Fazer chocolate. Travelled around Sweden including Stockholm, Helsingborg, and the ski slopes of Åre! (2017-2018)

ICESCAPE

Project overview:

A Viking-themed escape room that could be played in ICEBAR, Stockholm. (2018-2019)

MOVIE BRAND ACTIVATIONS

Project overview:

Worked with a marketing company to provide content for multiple brand activations. E.g. an escape room tie-in for Snömannen (2017), a scene recreation in a cinema for Halloween (2018), and a crashed spaceship in a cinema for Brightburn (2019).

Solo Video Games

Here are a few solo games/projects I made during my education at Futuregames.

GOING LOOPY

Project overview:

My first ever Unreal project, for the Introduction to Visual Scripting course at Futuregames. A first-person narrative puzzle game whereby a sleepy cat keeps accidentally restarting a time machine. Play through the level in 60 second loops and figure out how to put a stop to the madness! (March 2024)

UNDER A FROSTBITTEN MOON

Project overview:

A game made in Unity for a 3Cs course at Futuregames. A prototype for a black metal speedrunning game; what it lacked in good 3Cs it made up in personality and I had a lot of fun injecting a story into the very brief playtime. (October 2023)

CAVE WITH SOME STUFF

Project overview:

The very first video game I made, during the first course at Futuregames. Do some platforming, collect some things, talk to an iguana. This was a lot of fun to make! (September 2023)
